Use the Magnetic Hat Clip for a Higher POV

The Xtra ATTO Magnetic Hat Clip places the camera closer to your natural line of sight. It works well for sightseeing, walking tours, fishing, gardening, outdoor activities, and demonstrations where you want the footage to follow the direction you are looking at.

Attach the Hat Clip to a firm hat brim and make sure the camera does not pull the brim downward. Record a short test while walking and turning your head. Check that the lens is not blocked by the brim or hair and that the camera does not point too high or too low.

A hat-mounted view can feel immersive, but every head movement affects the footage. Move smoothly and avoid repeatedly looking down when the main subject is ahead.

The Magnetic Hat Clip is included in the box, so you can try this higher first-person angle without purchasing a separate wearable clip.

Do not treat the Hat Clip as an unverified helmet mount. For cycling, motorcycles, or impact-related activities, use a mount designed for the specific helmet and activity.

Use the Magnetic Lanyard for Everyday Recording

The Xtra ATTO Magnetic Lanyard creates a chest-level perspective for travel, daily routines, cooking, family activities, crafts, shopping, and pet walks.

Place the magnetic base behind your clothing and attach the camera outside according to the product instructions. Keep the lens clear of collars, scarves, hair, backpack straps, and loose fabric.

For city walks or moderate hikes, the Lanyard lets you record while carrying bags, checking directions, or interacting with the environment. Chest-level footage is generally less affected by quick head movement than a hat-mounted view, although it may capture more of the ground. Test the angle before recording a longer clip.

The Lanyard is also useful when both hands are occupied, such as cooking, completing a home project, or playing with a child. An adult-worn setup is usually more practical than attaching the camera to a young child. Keep magnets and small accessories away from infants.

Pet owners can wear ATTO on the Lanyard during a walk instead of placing equipment directly on the animal. This is often the safer starting point for small, elderly, or anxious pets.

Because the Magnetic Lanyard is included, users can begin recording chest-level lifestyle footage without paying for a separate chest mount.

Use the Ball-Joint Adapter for Flexible Angles

The Xtra ATTO Dual-Direction Magnetic Ball-Joint Adapter Mount helps position the camera at an adjustable fixed angle and connect it to compatible mounting systems.

Depending on the third-party accessory, it may work with a mini tripod, clamp, backpack-strap mount, bicycle mount, or pet-harness mount. Confirm the connection type, weight rating, secure fit, and activity compatibility before recording.

For travel and family content, connect the Ball-Joint Adapter to a compatible mini tripod or stable base. This setup can help with group videos, campsite introductions, cooking demonstrations, and clips where the creator needs to appear in the frame. Tighten the joint and check that the camera does not slowly tilt.

For cycling, use only a bicycle mount designed for riding conditions. Tighten every connection, complete a low-speed test, and make sure the camera cannot interfere with steering, braking, visibility, or protective equipment. Never adjust the camera while moving.

The adapter may also support a compatible pet-harness mount. Use a properly fitted harness rather than a neck collar, keep sessions short, and supervise the animal. Remove the setup if the pet changes its gait, scratches at the mount, freezes, or shows stress. Xtra ATTO weighs 54 grams, but the complete setup may not suit every animal.

The Ball-Joint Adapter is included with ATTO. A specialized third-party bicycle, tripod, or pet mount may still be needed, but you do not have to buy a separate ATTO adapter first.

Use the Vision Dock for Monitoring and File Export

The Xtra ATTO Multifunctional Vision Dock is included in the box and supports monitoring, remote control, additional operating time, charging, and file export.

Files are stored in ATTO’s built-in storage. The camera does not record directly to the microSD card inside the Vision Dock. Instead, the dock can export files to a microSD card and free up internal storage.

The main camera offers up to 90 minutes of battery life. With the Vision Dock connected, total battery life can reach up to 220 minutes under the specified laboratory conditions. Actual runtime may vary with recording settings, temperature, and usage.

The included Protective Case helps separate the camera from hard objects during transport, while the included USB-C cable supports charging and compatible file-transfer workflows.

Yes. Due to its compact, highly integrated design, Xtra ATTO may generate noticeable heat during high-resolution, high-frame-rate, or extended recording. This is normal. The camera includes overheat protection and may stop recording when it reaches a safe temperature limit. For longer recording, we recommend using the camera in a well-ventilated environment, enabling Endurance Mode, lowering the bitrate, switching to 8-bit color, and setting the screen to turn off quickly.

Is XTRA ATTO available and supported in the United States?

Yes. Currently released XTRA products remain available for purchase in the United States. App features, firmware updates, customer service, and local support continue in full.

Does Xtra ATTO support voice control?
