XTRA Edge vs Edge Pro: Which Action Camera Should You Choose?
Choosing between XTRA Edge and Edge Pro? Start with your shooting conditions and the complete kit cost. This XTRA-published comparison covers the two models in our range; it is not an independent test or a ranking of every action camera on the market.

Prices are in USD, checked September 29, 2026. Prices and availability may change; check each product page and checkout for current totals. The Edge Pro Dual Battery Combo is above $300, even though the camera-only option is below it. Allow for any memory card, mounting accessories, tax or shipping that applies to your order.
Choose Edge When Budget Comes First
At the checked prices, Edge costs $90 less than Edge Pro for the camera-only option. That difference may leave more of your budget for the accessories you actually need. The Edge Dual Battery Combo is $60 above its camera-only price and remains below $300 before any other costs.
Before selecting a bundle, compare the included items with the mounts, memory card and charging equipment you already own. Check the XTRA Edge specifications and bundle contents against the recording settings you intend to use rather than assuming that every feature works in every mode.
Choose Edge Pro for Low-Light Action Recording
Edge Pro combines a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, a dedicated 4K/60fps Night View mode and dual OLED touchscreens. It is rated for use underwater to 20 meters with its covers fully closed; a waterproof case is recommended for prolonged underwater use or strong flow and pressure.
Mode compatibility matters. TiltGuard supports up to 4K/60fps in 16:9, while 360 Lock is limited to 1080p and 2.7K at up to 60fps in 16:9. Night View does not support TiltGuard or 360 Lock. These are different options for different conditions, not features to assume can all be enabled together.
Review the Edge Pro recording modes, specifications and current bundles before paying for features you may not use.
